Claremind (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website claremind.com and the Claremind AI platform (collectively, the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

By using Claremind you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data — email address and authentication information when you sign up or log in.
• Interview responses — information you share during the AI-guided interview process. This forms your personal self-model.
• Interaction data — messages and interactions with the platform.
• Subscription data — subscription tier and billing status. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store payment card details.
• Usage data — standard logs including IP address, browser type, and timestamps for service improvement and security.
• Waitlist email — if you submit your email on our landing page.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• Build and maintain your personal self-model and generate your clarity report, priority roadmap, and context-aware guidance.
• Manage your account authentication, session, and subscription tier.
• Process subscription payments and sync subscription status via webhook events from Dodo Payments.
• Send transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, billing receipts). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails without your explicit consent.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Processing

Claremind uses AI technology to power the interview and generate personalized insights. Your responses are processed to create your self-model and provide guidance. These AI providers process your data solely to deliver the Service and do not use it for training purposes under our agreements.

Your personal data and generated insights are stored securely and are never shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your account and personal data are stored securely with industry-standard encryption. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers.

A local copy of your data may be stored in your browser for offline access. This data remains on your device and is only transmitted when syncing with your account.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from the Account Settings page, or by emailing us at hello@claremind.com.

Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Anonymized usage logs may be retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

Claremind uses the following:

• Authentication cookies — session tokens for maintaining your logged-in state. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function.
• Local storage — for caching data locally to enable fast page loads and offline access.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
